The Borough of Tenafly (Bergen County) has an opening for an F/T recreational facilities position in a busy municipality with extensive public contact.   Under the direction of the Director of Recreation; the Site Supervisor, supervises all town Recreational facilities.  Does other related duties pertaining to the implementation of a high volume Recreation Department in conjunction with all youth sports sponsored and co-sponsored by the Borough.  Must be able to deal with the public in a professional manner and have strong customer service skills. The Borough of Tenafly (Bergen County) is seeking a Full-time Technical Assistant to serve within the Borough's Building Department. Applicants must possess a valid Technical Assistant Certification (TACO) issued by the NJ DCA.  Responsibilities include assistance in the processing/issuance of construction permits and scheduling of inspections.  Must have experience with Mitchel Humphrey’s software. Candidate must be customer service oriented and work well with the public.  Salary range $30,000 - $62,000 with benefits. The Borough of Tenafly (Bergen County) is seeking a full-time position in our Finance Department. Duties include but are not limited to: billing taxes, posting payments, delinquent notices, processing payroll, pension reporting, deferred compensation plans, garnishments, accruals and various adhoc reporting. Two years municipal tax/payroll experience or three years finance/accounting experience with a Bachelor’s degree is required. Applicant must have strong math and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential and knowledge of Edmunds and Balance Point is preferred.
