Walking Club

If you enjoy walking, but would like some company~join our walking club and make new friends while exercising!  Saturday mornings at Peace Plaza. 

Traditional Tai Chi Chuan & Sword

Developed in China over 400 years ago for health and self-defense.  The movements are a combination of slow motions and Qi Gong meditation.  Practicing Tai Chi Chuan and Sword can improve one's arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, immune system, flexibility, balance and muscular strength.  This class is for beginners and intermediates and offered by Master Ted Peng who holds certificates in Tai Chi 7th and Martial Arts 9th levels.  Classes are held in the McCandless Room.

Tennis Lessons (private/semi-private)

Available for four (1) hour sessions, Semi-private lessons available for up to 2 participants-maximum of 3 participants.  Flexible times based on coaches availability. Classes are held at Roosevelt Monument Tennis Courts and High School courts. 


Fitness program that combines Latin and international music with different dance moves that are very easy to follow.  Zumba routines incorporate interval training, alternative fast and slow rhythms to help improve cardiovascular fitness.  Bring water and be ready to sweat!  Classes are held in the McCandless Room.
